I’m a “list” girl. I don’t know about you, but my mind travels at the speed of lightning. I love making lists to wrangle those thoughts .. not to mention crossing each item off is kind of gratifying. Hell, sometimes I will add something to my list that I’ve already done that day, just to cross it off. I KNOW I cannot be the only one that does that. 🤣 Making my lists stops all of that information swirling around and around. But there is one big problem with my lists. I write them all on little pieces of paper and they end up getting lost, thrown in a drawer, or floating around in my purse. You name it. I recently vowed to get myself more organized. (More to come on organization.)
I not only have lists for appointments and my million projects I want to do around the house, but I have a HUGE list for my business regarding the content that I want to share with all of you. Ideas are ALWAYS swirling, which makes my lists never-ending… and always lost. 😑
The Best Life Planner and Why you Need One
I was recently researching what is the best planner…. calendar…. or system for scatterbrains. I needed a section that looked like a regular month at a glance calendar. It’s where I keep track of my bills at a glance… and Deb’s hours at the hardware store, and any upcoming appointments. I, also, wanted a week at a glance with big areas to write all of my business ideas down and to plan out each day.
Erin Condren Life Planners popped up almost every time in my search. I spent lots of time on their website browsing all of the possibilities. They not only have everything I was looking for in mine, but you can basically customize everything to fit your specific needs. I needed a Life Planner but they have all different types of planners: Academic Planners, Teacher Lesson Planners, Wedding Planners. You name it!
For Starters
The first thing you do (the fun part) is to choose your front cover design. You probably already figured out that I chose something subtle with very little color. 😜 But they have so many designs to choose from. You then customize your layout on your weekly pages… vertical, horizontal, or hourly. I chose horizontal because I needed a big space to write my daily ideas. Next, you can chose whether you want colorful pages or neutral. One guess at what I chose. 😆
You can add your name to the front, which I did. Oh……. AND….. They give multiple options if you are ordering in the middle of the year. My specific planner goes from July 2018 – December 2019. They have a wide variety of other accessories which include stickers, writing sticks (pens and pencils – I heard an older guy call it that once – 😭) and interchangeable covers. It comes with a pocket inside to hold stray papers…. OR… all of your lists before you have a chance to write them on your planner.
Feeling Fancy
You guys have no clue how much easier it is to have everything in one spot. 😆 I’m no longer walking around the house saying, “Deb…. where is that list…” She is like, “Um… which one of the hundred lists are you talking about?” 🙄 I finally have everything organized in my life planner and I’m feeling all fancy. 😆
I couldn’t wait to share this product with all of you. If you are in the least bit scatterbrained like me or you are buried in lists… keep them all in place with a life planner. Do yourself a favor. You will love it! And even if you aren’t in the market for a planner, you should definitely check out their website. They have all sorts of fun things!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it! Let me know in the comments below what ways you are keeping organized. I am working on several different areas of our home and will be sharing soon. You can also follow me on Facebook and Instagram where we have lots of fun!
Buh bye, now!
